Carr Moss Kennels and Cattery is a small family run business set in the peaceful Lancashire countryside between Halsall and Ainsdale. We are close to Ormskirk, Southport and Formby but do have customers who travel from further afield to board with us.

We will look after your pets in the manner that we would want our own pets to be looked after so that you can have peace of mind whilst you are away that they will be happy and secure with us.

We are licenced by West Lancashire Borough Council (L/N 9997 & 1005) as a 5 star establishment recognising our commitment to the animals welfare.

Looking after your pets when you can’t.

Carr Moss Kennels & Cattery is a well-established dog and cat boarding premises.
Set up to give you peace of mind that your pets will be happy and well cared for during their stay.

Quality Food

Pets requiring special diets or taking medication can be catered for.

Cats are normally fed 3 times per day.

Dogs twice per day but this can be varied if your normal routine is different.

Kennels and Pens

Individual heated indoor sleeping area with their own attached outdoor covered run.

Beds and bedding

You are welcome to bring your pet’s own, but be aware, kennelled dogs can be destructive, even if not normally.

Exercise

All dogs have access to the large exercise yard several times each day, at least twice for extended periods where we will fully interact with them (if they want to).

what will it cost?

Our charges are per day, including arrival and departure days.

The Pen/Kennel is available from 9 am on the arrival day till 6 pm on the departure day.

These prices are valid from Easter 2025 and do not include VAT if applicable.

Reductions are made if there is more than 1 pet sharing a pen/kennel.

A discount will be applied if dogs are only staying for one night.
