Carr Moss Kennels and Cattery Terms and Conditions of boarding:
- We charge for each day or part day that the animal is on the premises including arrival and departure days.
- Animals can be dropped off or collected any time between 9:00 and 18:00
- Owners should discuss any relevant issues or concerns regarding their animal when dropping off.
- We do not currently charge for cancellations but appreciate as much notice as possible.
- Owners are liable for any damage inflicted upon staff, other dogs or property
by their animals. - While every possible care and attention is given, animals are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
- The proprietor cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to items supplied by the owner.
- Any possessions left behind will be disposed of or given to charity if not collected within 2 weeks of the end of the stay.
- If we have concerns regarding your animal we reserve the right to take them to a veterinary Surgery. This will usually be your own registered vet, but it may be an out of hours emergency vet or our own registered vet if more appropriate at the time.
- We have your authorisation to discuss the health of your animal and any required treatments with the vet and have the animal examined and if required, treated.
- If it is necessary for a vet to be called to your pet, the veterinary fees will be charged accordingly. The proprietor cannot be held responsible for loss through illness.
- If a pet is not collected within 14 days of the due date of departure and the proprietor has received no communication from the pet’s owner, the proprietor reserves the right to sell or otherwise dispose of the animal.
- We have the right to refuse to board any dog which we feel is not suitable for boarding or shows aggression problems. We have the right to ask the owner or the emergency contact to remove a dog from the property if we feel the dog poses a risk to itself or others.
VACCINATIONS
- All dogs must have completed vaccinations against Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza Virus at least 4 weeks prior to initial boarding. This mist be followed by yearly booster vaccinations.
- All dogs must be vaccinated against Kennel cough at least 2 weeks prior to boarding followed by a yearly booster.
- All cats must have completed vaccinations against Feline Rhinotracheitis Calcivirus, Herpes, Panleukopenia and Leukaemia FelV at least 4 weeks prior to boarding. This must be followed by yearly booster vaccinations.
- All pets should have been treated for fleas and worms prior to boarding.
- Vaccination certificates must be provided in order for your pet to be boarded. This is a requirement of the licensing regulations and ensures the wellbeing of all pets.
